Short description
Bike in VR is a Meta Quest 3 cycling simulator. Park your bike on a trainer, put on the headset and pedal: the game reads your speed from head motion alone and rolls an endless country road through 19 biomes. No sensors, no controllers.
Long description
Bike in VR turns the bike you already own into a way to explore. You put any bike on a trainer, wear a Meta Quest 3 and ride. Every pedal stroke gives your head a small rhythm; the game senses it and converts it to speed, so there is nothing to strap on and no cadence sensor to pair.
The road is generated as you ride, from a seed, so it never ends and a good ride can be replayed. It leads through forest edges and deep woods, fields and timbered villages, desert dunes and red canyons, snow, jungle, mountain passes, a blossom valley under a giant World Tree, a swamp full of fireflies, a lantern-lit cave, crystal groves and a chessboard plain with giant pieces.
A small cockpit sits on the handlebar. Rest your gaze on a button to press it: recenter, change weather and time of day, lock a biome or glide to another. Weather runs from sun and wind to fog, rain and snow. Rabbits hop away as you pass, birds cross the road, and every biome has its own music and nature sound.
Comfort comes first: no artificial turning, nothing attached to you but the cockpit, a level horizon and an optional vignette at speed. Bike in VR is in development and made by a small independent team.
