BIKE IN VR

Pedal your own bike. The road does the rest. Bike in VR reads your speed from head motion alone and rolls an endless country road through 19 biomes. No sensors. No controllers.

A short WebXR taste of the road: a Deep Forest and a red Canyon, in storm and fog. No install, no account. Open it in the Meta Quest browser and press Enter VR, or ride on screen on a computer.

The demo is a small web re-creation, not the full game: two biomes and simplified art. The real game is a Quest app.

How it works

Park the bike on a trainer, put on the headset, and ride. That is the whole setup.

A real bike on a trainer

Any bike, smart trainer or plain one. You pedal for real, so the effort is real.

Your head is the speedometer

Every pedal stroke gives your head a small rhythm. The headset senses it and turns it into speed. No cadence sensor, no controllers.

Look to choose

A small cockpit on the handlebar shows speed. Rest your gaze on a button to press it: recenter, change weather, jump to another biome. Hands stay on the bars.

19 biomes, one endless road

The road is generated as you ride, from forest edge to desert dunes to a blossom valley under a giant World Tree. Pictures in the gallery are real captures from the game (desktop capture, early build).

Made for long, calm rides

Endless procedural roads

Every ride is generated from a seed. Curves, hills and scenery never run out, and a good ride can be replayed by its seed.

Stylised icon: a circle split into landscape slices

19 biomes

Forests, fields, villages, dunes, snow, jungle, mountains, sakura, swamp, canyon, cave, crystal, chessboard and cliff. Lock one or glide to the next.

Stylised icon: sun, rain cloud and snowflake

Weather and time of day

Sun, wind, fog, rain and snow, from dawn to night. Let it change by itself or pick the sky from the cockpit panel.

Stylised icon: a rabbit and a bird by the road

Living roadside

Rabbits hop away as you approach, birds cross the road, herds wander through the meadows.

Stylised icon: a leaf shaped like a music note

Biome music and nature sound

Each biome has its own track and ambience: wind over dunes, crickets in the swamp, rain on the leaves. Your pedalling gets a bike sound of its own.

Stylised icon: a calm eye inside a visor frame

Comfort first

No artificial turning, nothing attached to the bike except the cockpit, and an optional vignette at high speed. The horizon stays level.

Questions

Will it make me motion sick?

Bike in VR avoids the usual triggers: there is no artificial turning or stick movement, the horizon stays level, scenery is never attached to you, and a vignette softens high speeds. Your body is really pedalling while the world moves, which many riders find easier than gamepad locomotion. Everyone differs, so start with short rides.

Which bikes and trainers work?

Any bike that sits firmly on a trainer. A smart trainer or a simple fluid or magnetic one both work, because the game does not talk to the trainer at all. It reads your head motion.

How much space do I need?

Only the space of your bike and trainer. You stay seated and do not walk around. Keep elbows clear of walls and fans.

Do I need sensors or controllers?

No. Speed comes from head motion only, and you use your gaze for the on-bike menu.

How accurate is the speed?

It is an estimate meant to feel right, not a power meter. It suits immersion and relaxed riding, not measured workouts.

When can I play?

Bike in VR is in development. Leave your email below and we will let you know.
